Mason's Patent Ironstone China

Choose from over 175 different items by Masons!

The Mason dynasty began with Miles Mason, who started potting in Staffordshire in 1800. His sons George Miles and Charles James succeeded him and it was Charles James Mason, who registered Patent Ironstone China in 1813. Stone china had been made by others, such as Spode and Turner, but Mason's Patent was a publicity master-stroke and established Mason's Ironstone as the best-known stone china in the world. In 1848 Francis Morley took over the Mason's business and in turn G.L. Ashworth & Bros became the owners in 1862, which ensured that the Mason name continues today.

You will find a great selection here from the earliest days of antique Ironstone right through to modern times in patterns such as Table and Flower Pot, Flying Bird, Blue Chinese Landscape, also known as Turners Willow, British Lakes Series, Chinese Wall, Japan BasketVista and the more recent Fruit Basket and Denmark, all just a click away.  Or to find all antique Mason's china or all modern Mason's china or absolutely everything all Mason's china

A Mason's speciality is Ginger Jars & Caddies  in many patterns and colours. Also Sadler Ginger Jars & Caddies Or All Ginger Jars and Caddies
