	Maker: Cauldon  Pattern:Chariot Caddy c1930s This is a cracker of a caddy. It is hexagonal and stands on six small feet, one on each corner. The cover has a deep cobalt knop and all in all it is a decorative and rare item. There are two tiny nicks under one foot, which may have occurred in manufacture, and the tiniest of nicks on another foot. On the cover there is a small firing crack on the rim, which occurred in manufacture. We try to describe in the minutest detail, but frankly this is in lovely condition. The glaze is sound and as bright as the day it was made. Really wonderful piece. Typical blue printed backstamp. 	Maker: Cauldon  Pattern:Native Ginger Jar c1930 Cauldon acquired F and R Pratt of Fenton, Staffordshire in the early 1920s and continued production of Pratt's Native Scenery under its original name of Native. Pratt's produced Native Scenery from about 1880 to 1920 and it is the same design as Native made by W Adams of Stoke in the 1820s and it seems likely that Pratts acquired the printing plates from the Adams factory at some point and re-introduced the pattern. The scene is believed to depict Lady Eleanor Butler and Miss Sarah Ponsonby known as The Ladies of Llangollen who lived together in north Wales from 1790 to 1831. This jar is really heavily potted and probably had a tied cloth cover originally, as it has a string tie rim and Fortnum & Mason, London is printed on the bottom. 	Maker: Kent  Pattern:Ye Olde Foley Tea Canister c1920s James Kent of Longton. This sloping sided square tea canister has cut corners and is complete with matching lid, with plain bun knob finial. Standing an a shaped foot it is beautifully patterned all the way round, with one scene on two sides and a double scene on the other two. The glaze is crazed and inside the lid there is a possible fine hairline running around the base of the finial, but all really minor. The whole ensemble looks excellent.
