Jug or Pitcher c1820
An unusual pattern on this jug, printed in a steely blue. No backstamp. There is a small shallow chip and a few minor rubs to the rim and a little wear to the handle. There is a short hairline in the angle where the spout joins the body and another running horizontally in the body for about 2.25ins 6cm, which appears to have orginated from a manufacturing defect, rather than damage. Sounds awful but as the hairlines are only visible on close inspection, it looks great. Overall this is a fabulous jug.

Attractive small jug with decorative moulded handle. There is some wear to the shoulder and also a little to the rim and a touch to the handle and underneath where the glaze is worn, but overall a lovely little jug. No makers marks. A slop bowl in this pattern was displayed at the True Blue exhibition 1998 and described as a previously unrecorded pattern.

Jugs or Pitchers Set of Three c1890 Maker: Unattributed Maker  Pattern:Unidentified Pattern
Jugs or Pitchers Set of Three c1890
These jugs are quite an unusual shape. The body has wide ribbing with a small embossed fan shape decoration each side at the base. The top of the jug is gently moulded with gilt spatter decoration and there is gilt line decoration to the main pattern. The largest and smallest jugs are slightly more flown than the middle jug. The largest jug has a little minor wear to the handle otherwise is fine. The middle jug is crazed with some light associated staining and has a small inside rim chip. The smallest jug has light crazing and two hairlines, one measures 1.5 ins the other 3.5 ins, the latter has lost a little glaze on the outside of the jug. As usual once the faults are down "on paper" it all sounds much worse. This is a lovely set of jugs.

This is a large and wonderful piece! Fabulous street scene complete with Regency strollers, sedan chair and horse and carriage. The buildings look slightly Continental or Eastern and overall the impression is of Bath with Istanbul overtones! Blue printed backstamp of Stone China on a scroll fringed with foliage. It has light all over crazing, two small hairlines to the body and inside a chip, which probably started out as a firing fault. There is a small firing crack to the inside rim and some general wear mainly around the top rim and spout of the jug and some light staining inside. Teapot c1825
Delightful rural scene with two men fishing and a church in the background decorates both sides of this teapot and is set within an ornate floral and swag border. A rare example of a good sized early teapot. Backstamp: 5 impressed twice. The teapot itself is in pretty good order. There is a large double chip on the underside of the spout and a tiny nick on the edge of the spout, three-quarters of the way up. The glaze on one side was a bit thin and this has greened or yellowed over the years. The lid has numerous small chips and nibbles under the rim and a small rub or chip on the top rim. The knop has been off and restuck reasonably neatly. Despite everything, with the lid in place and the teapot displayed with its better side showing, the whole thing looks near perfect.
