Bowl c1920s
Attractive small bowl with pattern both inside and out. The scene depicts the harbour at Ferrara in northern Italy. On the left is the palace of the Dukes of Este, and other harbour buildings and, on the right, the canal that connects the harbour to the river Po. The Ferrara pattern combines, therefore, an Italian harbour with Liverpool ships! Backstamp: Ferrara Etruria England Wedgwood and impressed Wedgwood.
