	Maker: Adams  Pattern:Chinese Bird blue with colour Basket c1930s This is a delightful piece, printed in blue, but with hand painted colour to vignettes and an ochre rim. These with-colour pieces are much rarer than the plain blue. Hexagonal and standing on six small feet it has a gently flared rim with decorative diamond moulding to the outside. There are three pattern vignettes inside the basket - all different and the final touch are two delicate side handles. In superb condition. Usual blue printed backstamp. 	Maker: Adams  Pattern:Chinese Bird blue with colour Basket c1920s Gorgeous basket decorated with Adams popular Chinese Bird design, here in the colour version, with hand enamelled colours, plus an ochre rim. The basket is hexagonal with moulded sides and it stands on six small splay feet highlighted in dark cobalt blue. The two side handles are fashioned in rope twist and also painted in the dark cobalt blue. The glaze is lightly crazed and in a couple of places it has taken up a little staining, but all very minor. 	Maker: Adams  Pattern:Old Free Hand colour Soup Tureen c1920s Blue printed with hand applied enamel colour on green glazed ironstone. The latter gives the body a rather attractive gentle green sheen, this more apparent on the cover than the base. With gilt rims and gilt highlights, this really is a most majestic soup tureen. The cover has a cut out for a ladle, and most unusual the tureen has a slight indent in the inner rim for the ladle to sit in. Excellent condition. 	Maker: Alcock  Pattern:Oriental blue with colour Plates Set of Ten c1840 Made by Samuel Alcock & Co of Cobridge and Burslem. These dessert size plates are decorated in their famous flow blue Oriental design, but here with a turquoise or green ground and gilt highlighting. Backstamp: Typical blue printed cartouche with Oriental and SA&Co, plus pattern number 1265 in script. Overall good condition, some wear where the border goes down into the bowl of each plate and the odd mark elsewhere.
