Dessert Plate Warleigh House Somerset c1825
Ralph Hall of Swan Bank, Tunstall produced his Select Views mainly for the export market. Warleigh House is near Bathford and was built in the castellated Tudor style about 1814. Usual blue printed cartouche backstamp R Hall's Select Views, Warleigh House, Somersetshire, Stone China. Overall good condition, but there is a visible knife scratch on the picture, minor rubs to rim and a small rim chip on the back. The glaze is lightly crazed.

Overall good condition, with some knife marks to the face, minor rubs to rim and some minor staining on the back. There is a glazing blemish on the border at about 2 o'clock. The glaze is sound and has not crazed.
