Stand has light all over crazing with a tiny nick under the rim. The tureen also has light crazing with a little minor discolouration to the rim and inside. Tureen over handles is 7.5" 19.5cm. Stand is 8" x 6" 20cm x 15cm.

Delightful lidded small tureen with stand. Backstamp: Copeland Spode's Seasons England, also on stand impressed Copeland Crown. The stand has light all over crazing with small minor blemish to the face. The tureen also has light crazing with a tiny tiny horizontal hairline to the rim. The lid has a little very minor pitting to the inner rim underneath otherwise excellent condition. As usual the written description sounds much worse than it looks in real life! Tureen over handles is 7.5" 19.5cm. Stand is 8" x 6" 20cm x 15cm.

Lovely large ladle in the early version of this pattern. Backstamp: Printed and impressed Copeland & Garrett New Blanche. Crazed with a little associated discolouration. Underneath and to the stem there are a few minor glazing blemishes and also to the stem a little minor wear. Sounds much worse than it looks!

Lunch Plate c1944
Seasons was introduced about 1835 and takes its name from the four figures in the border reserves. The centres are large vases of flowers, with the name of a month or season on the vase. There are two versions with the vases set in real landscapes or an Italian Garden. This is November in a landscape that has not been identified. This plate is virtually as new. Blue printed backstamp seal mark Copeland, Spode's Seasons, England. Impressed Copeland over crown and date mark for July 1944. Provenance: The personal collection of Robert Copeland.

SUMMER. This is stunning! Printed in a steely blue/grey this large dish has a tree and well feature. The season depicted is Summer which is written on the central urn. This dish has a little very minor crazing otherwise is in absolutely superb condition. Blue printed backstamp Copeland Late Spode and impressed crown. Seasons was introduced as a pattern in 1837.

An absolutely fabulous ornate stand for a large soup tureen. September is written across the base of the plinth on which the ornate urn is standing. The ornate side handles are adorned with embossed acorn detail. Backstamp: Copeland Late Spode and impressed Crown. A little surface scratching and some wear to the inner rim, otherwise excellent condition.
