Plate c1825 Maker: Unattributed Maker  Pattern:Deer and Folly
Plate c1825
This pattern is known by various names, including Deer and Temple, Deer and Rotunda and Rotunda Ruins. There are other variants on those and sometimes the deer are specified as Fallow Deer. Lovely plate with gorgeous floral border surrounding the central Fallow Deer scene. No maker's backstamp. Crazed with a little light associated discolouration and there is a small discreet hairline in the curve of the plate. Overall a lovely piece.

Sugar Bowl lidded c1820 Maker: Unattributed Maker  Pattern:Fallow Deer
Sugar Bowl lidded c1820
An absolutely delightful lidded goblet shape sugar bowl with detailed lions head detail each side. Although we have marked this as unattributed, the shape suggests it could be by Patterson & Co of Gateshead, Tyneside. No backstamp. Inside the bowl there is a little minor discolouration, a small chip to the rim and underneath a little minor discolouration. The lid has a small chip on top to the rim and another tiny one around the finial. Underneath there is a little minor discolouration and two chips to the inner rim. The latter not noticeable with the lid is in situ'.
