Meat Dish or Platter with tree and well c1845
A relatively small dish with tree and well feature. No backstamp. Crazed with some light discolouration. The back and outer and inner rims are worn and there are two small chips to the rim.

Meat Dish or Platter c1845
This pattern was made by several different makers, based mainly in the north-east of England, with Whitehaven Pottery and Alcocks of Staffordshire being two exceptions to that rule. There is no backstamp, merely 16 impressed and 8 printed in blue. The glaze is crazed with some light associated staining, but it is still shiny and bright. Overall in excellent condition.

Soup Tureen c1850
This tureen lacks its cover, but makes a substantial display piece and would be ideal for use as a cache pot or jardiniere. The pattern is a contrived romantic scene with a boat, ruined temple and a backdrop of mountains and is called Gem. No maker's backstamp. There is fine crazing to the glaze, but overall it is in excellent condition.

A very pretty border surrounds the central classic scene. No backstamp. Light all over crazing with some wear to the outer and inner rim and a little loss of glaze to the stilt marks.
