Maker: Wood and Brownfield Pattern:Eastern Plants Dinner Plate c1840 Lovely pearly white plate with gentle flow blue flowers and foliage design, within blue decorated and moulded rim. Crazed with a little minor wear to the rim. Blue printed backstamp of crown over cartouche containing pattern name and initials W & B in ribbon beneath. This design is attributed in several reference books to Wood and Baggaley, but was in fact made by the better known partnership of Wood & Brownfield, Cobridge, Staffordshire.
